The clasp is not an O clasp, but a very tiny lobster clasp that is very hard for people without nails or people with arthritis to work. I have to put it on with the clasp in the front and in front of a mirror. I fumble with the clasp a lot, it's very difficult to put on. Other than that, it's a pretty necklace and a great value.
