(More customer reviews)I bought the charms for my 6 year old daughter and I a few years back from a local jeweler. It is the same charm. I cannot comment on the chain; (I purchased wheat chains at that time b/c the charm didn't come with any) I will say that most of the time, chains that come with charms are somewhat cheap, and I usually put the charm on one of my other chains. We both loved it, and wore it often! As far as the charm goes, the only thing I can tell you that the description does not is that it is thinner, maybe, than it looks and why the previous reviewer didn't like it. It's not super thin and weak or cheap. It's just not real thick. Like I said, my 6 year old wore it a lot. She was devastated when an airport employee stole hers from inside our luggage, so it's cute enough for someone to steal. I am fortunate to have found the same charm again. I would recommend this charm, and although I haven't seen the chain it comes on yet, I would recommend you get a quality chain to wear it on, or use one you already own. In my experience, wheat chains tend to be stronger and more durable. I also recommend that you never keep ANY of your jewelry in luggage that will be checked in.
