Packaging was sturdy and secure. The necklace came via USPS in a small flat-rate shipping box, inside a a jewelry box which was inside a tissue-paper wrapped Katarina gift box. Very nice :o).
However, the necklace was markedly smaller than I thought it would be. I was looking for this necklace to replace one for a 16 year old sibling, and on the website, it looked like an exact match! I was so excited. The necklace is pretty but much suited for a child, as the actual pendant is very small. It would be extremely helpful if, in the future, Katarina includes a scale alongside their pendants. I would not have ordered this necklace had I known it was not the size I wanted, even though it is a very pretty item.
