(More customer reviews)I ordered this for my daughter and her best friend. I was very disappointed by the product, and having checked the details of my order, am now quite angry about it. The item took ages to arrive, It was not as the picture depicts, a Best Friend broken heart, but instead actually says "big sis / lil sis". I had actually run my search for the necklace as a "best friends" broken heart... so is it unreasonable to expect that it should be one, when that is what the picture shows? Further, even if it had been the correct words, the item is not nearly as nice as the picture. It looks like it is made from stainless steel rather than silver. It did indeed come with a pouch, as advertised, but this is NOT velvet, and is only a cheap imitation, worth only a few pence. Given that, I though the fact that they supplied only one pouch, for what is effectively two necklaces for two separate people was cheap and mean. Finally, and crucially, the item cost $24 US, which is about ?16 UK. That would be fine, but rather when I checked my amazon bill, the postage and packaging was charges at ?20!!! Was it carefully and beautifully packed and sent via express post? No - it was posted in a small padded envelope, with no other internal packaging or documentation (including no return details), AND THE POSTAGE IS SHOWN ON THE ENVELOPE AS BEING $2.59 US - which is about ?1.50!!!!! so where did the other ?18.50 go???
DO NOT BUY THIS - IT IS A HUGE RIP OFF. My 9 year old daughter and her friend are so disappointed.
