(More customer reviews)These earrings are real leaves plated in gold. For 24Kt. they're not super shiny. But, they are golden with a shimmer. They are lightweight and comfortable, but they are not delicate. They seem pretty sturdy. The earrings are French Hook style, but they do not come with a safety plug. You are given a small black velveteen bag for them.
The leaves are 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches long. But, with the clasps on the top, the earrings drop 2" when wearing. They are not a small leaf, but they are not huge either (I have a pair that's bigger than these are). So, they give a modest presence on the ear.
They also give a real modern, funky and fresh look, esp. for spring with flower prints. And, with the price of gold so high, you can't beat having such a big, bold gold look at this price!
