(More customer reviews)I received this for a 40th Birthday present from my parents. I picked it out, but what it doesn't tell you is that the bail on the pendant has a clip so it can be opened. The clip seemed tight enough that you wouldn't lose the pendant, but the actual clip keeps the pendant from laying flat against your chest. Every time you turn your head the pendant rolls from left to right. It was driving me crazy, so I took it to the jeweler yesterday to see if something could be done. They said it wasn't just the clip, but the bail was set at an angle that was keeping it from laying flat. They ordered me a new bail to replace the one that the pendant came with...I think my estimate was $40. It's worth it to me because this is something I will always remember from my parents. I just knew I would'nt wear it if it didn't lay flat. The chain is really pretty and has a great sparkle. The diamond was beautiful from the front, but from the back you could see a pretty big imperfection that I thought was a crack. The jeweler confirmed it was just a shading difference in the diamond. Again, I'm not concerned with that because from the front it looks beautiful and let's be honest, nothing is perfect! Overall, once the bail is replaced I think I will be perfectly happy. I just didn't plan on having to take it somewhere to be fixed.
I should receive it next week. I will take a photo and include it with this e-mail if I am able to do that. If you are looking for a champagne diamond and don't want to spend a small fortune, I think this would make you happy. It is really pretty.
